In thanks for a bountiful harvest, the people of Hellas chose to celebrate the goddess Demeter with a feast and a basket full of food. Demeter would have been grateful for such a gift, but there was a hungry kitty in front of the temple... When the kitten saw the basket, he pounced into it, gobbled all the contributions, and left crumbs and bones for Demeter. When the goddess saw the leftovers, she became enraged and determined to punish the people. All natural forces seemed to turn against the Helladians; villages began to swarm with hazardous beasts, and the earth began to spew out wicked roots and underground vegetation. Who is the hero who can solve the crisis, look into the eyes of the angered goddess of fertility, and restore Demeter's grace to Hellas? That hero is Hercules' future wife, Megara!
