Autumn’s Treasures

Autumn discovered her grandfather's journal while cleaning up the shop, and she discovered an adventurous youth she never knew her grandfather had - expeditions to remote villages, exotic cities, dear friends spread across the globe, and a thriving import business in New York City - all of which he'd left behind years ago. There were also allusions to an enigmatic jade coin that her grandfather believed had brought him tremendous prosperity. A jade coin had gone missing just before his store opened, and his health had deteriorated. Not only was this rare coin gone, but so were several pages from the notebook, taken out hastily, leaving only the jagged edges of intrigue to entice its reader.
