Sarah holds a news conference to inform the world that the ancient sea devil and his fabled treasure are genuine and are stashed away on an unidentified island. She does this after finding enigmatic notes that support the veracity of the Davy Jones tale.Abruptly, the notorious pirate's galleon emerges from the distance, and Davy Jones enters the museum to abduct Sarah and her daughter.Sarah's daughter is thrown into Jones' ship's brig along with her. After they escape, they learn sinister details about the ship's alien beginnings while trying to find a way back to land. However, they are discovered before they can board a lifeboat, so Cory consents to sign a sinister deal with Davy Jones in order to save her mother.
