Dominoes, a timeless board game with roots possibly stretching back to ancient China or even the tomb of Tutankhamun, involves strategic placement of 28 tiles (in a double-six set).
Typically played by two to four participants, numerous variations of the game exist.
Each player begins with a set number of tiles, and the aim is to lay them down in a chain by matching the numbers.
Starting with the highest double, players take turns placing their tiles, or drawing new ones if they cannot match.
The game continues until a player successfully places all their tiles or it becomes blocked, and the player with the fewest points is declared the winner.
